Digital illustration created during the art challenge 𝘐𝘯𝘬𝘵𝘰𝘣𝘦𝘳 in 2020.
Inktober, founded by the artistJake Parker, takes place during October and is open to all people that want to submit a maximum of one drawing per day using ink. The goal, mainly, is to be consistent and to express creativity. A key word per day is given to bring ideas to the contributors.
This illustration has been created during the 20th day and was inspired by the key word, Coral. Laurent Pinabel mentions here, with a black humour, the coral reef's devastation that we are currently facing since a few years.
The artwork is showcased here in our whitewash final natural maple wood slim frame, handmade in Montreal.
