When Jean-Paul Eid reached out to offer us the piece “This Is Not Art,” we said yes, even though we don’t usually take on spontaneous collaborations. We wanted to help amplify his message. We are watching the rise of generative AI in the world of imagery with concern. Our position on this matter is clear: we collaborate only with artists who create their works themselves — with their imagination, their hands, their sensitivity, and with respect for the work of their peers. We believe in the power of the artistic gesture, in human creativity, and in the exceptional quality that emerges from visual research rooted in lived experience, reflection, and emotion.
